Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Sarah Meier, Assistant Athletic Director

Men’s Soccer Shutout by Orediggers, 1-0

DURANGO, Colo. – October 12, 2014 – The Fort Lewis College men's soccer team was shutout for the second time this season at Dirks Field.  Colorado School of Mines handed the Skyhawks a 1-0 loss Sunday afternoon.
 
The loss, which moves FLC to 7-5 overall and 5-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, was also the first time this season the Skyhawks have suffered back-to-back losses at home.
 
Tannor Randle netted the game-winning goal at 58:15 off of a free kick.
 
The Skyhawks Yannis Becker recorded a game high six shots.  As a team, FLC posted 14 shots (six on goal).  The Ordegger's Joe Haines tallied four of the Orediggers 11 shots.
 
Goalkeeper Ryan Schaul made five saves in the game. 
 
The Skyhawks will play their third straight home game on Friday when they host Colorado State-Pueblo at 3 p.m.
