DURANGO, Colo. – October 17, 2014 – Trailing 1-0 at halftime to Colorado State University-Pueblo, the Fort Lewis College men's soccer team scored three goals in the second half to earn a 3-1 win Friday afternoon at Dirks Field.
The win moves the Skyhawks to 8-5-0 overall and 4-5-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The ThunderWolves drop to 3-10 overall and 2-7 in the RMAC.
Matt Marchena netted an unassisted goal at 22:48 to give the Pack a 1-0 lead they would take into halftime.
The Skyhawks pummeled 14 shots in the second half, three of which found the back of the net.
Yannis Becker scored his seventh goal of the season when he tied the game at 71:48. Becker dribbled around the defense before firing the ball from 15 yards out past the goalie.
Becker scored the game-winning goal at 79:51. The ThunderWolves committed a foul in the box that led to a penalty kick. Becker took the penalty kick for his eighth goal of the season.

The win snaps a two game losing streak by the Skyhawks.
Fort Lewis posted 24 shots in the game and 13 on goal. Lawrence led both teams with six shots (five shots on goal).
Ryan Schaul made two saves in goal for his seventh win of the season.
The Skyhawks will travel to Regis University Sunday afternoon for a 2:30 p.m. match.
