Men’s Soccer Falls in Overtime at Regis, 2-1

DENVER, Colo. – Oct. 19, 2014 – Yannis Becker's second half goal tied the Fort Lewis College men's soccer game at Regis University, 1-1 and sent the game into overtime.  The Rangers would find the back of the net three minutes into the extra period to earn the win, 2-1.
 
Jacob Martinez scored the first goal of the game at 7:24 to give RU an early 1-0 lead.
 
Becker's goal, which came from Luke Lawrence's assist at 53:52, was his ninth goal of the season.  Becker led both teams with nine shots (five shots on goal).
 
Ryan Urwiller tallied the game-winning goal at 92:30 to lead Regis to the regular season sweep over FLC.
 
The Skyhawks dominated the Rangers offensively, posting 19 shots (nine shots on goal) to RU's six shots (three shots on goal).
 
FLC moves to 8-6 on the year and 6-4 in the RMAC.  They will continue their four game road swing next Friday at Colorado Mesa University and next Sunday at MSU Denver.
