SILVER CITY, N.M. – October 31, 214 – The Fort Lewis College volleyball team won the first two sets at Western New Mexico University before the Mustangs stormed back to win the next three to earn a 3-2 win over the Skyhawks Friday night at Drags Court (25-23, 27-25, 19-25, 20-25, 10-15).
 
Senior Ashley Wells recorded a season high 22 kills against the Mustangs.  She finished the match with a season high .362 hitting percentage (22 kills, five errors, 47 attempts).  Heather Danny posted 31 of the Skyhawks 62 assists.  Wells also added the second highest digs for the Skyhawks with 22.  Ally Dell'Amico led the back row defense with 28 digs.
 
Madi Bickle chipped in nine kills, four digs and six assists.
 
The Skyhawks hit .160 at the net with 64 kills on 187 attempts (34 errors). The Skyhawks dug up 83 attacks and blocked 10 more.
 
For Lewis (6-17, 3-12 RMAC) will play at New Mexico Highlands University Saturday night at 7 p.m.
