About the Skyhawks
The Skyhawks are 3-1 in 2015, winning back-to-back conference games during a two game home stand, defeating New Mexico Highlands 75-55 on Jan. 9, and Western New Mexico 64-52 the following night. This is the first time the Skyhawks have won back-to-back weekend games this season.
 
Three Skyhawks had season highs in scoring over the weekend. Skylyn Webb had a season high of 13, Kalie Magazzeni with a high of 20, and Meagan Prins with four points. The 20 points for Magazzeni was also a career high and her 10 rebounds against Western New Mexico was another season high. Kylie Santos had a career high in rebounds with seven, topping her old mark of six.
 
The Skyhawks have one of the best defenses in the conference allowing only 58.2 points per game, the fewest points allowed by any team in the RMAC. Fort Lewis is also first in the RMAC for defensive field goal percentage holding opponents to 33.5 percent. The Skyhawks rank first in offensive rebounding and second in blocked shots (57 total).
 
Fort Lewis has two student-athletes ranked in the top 20 for rebounding with Mary Brinton placing 10th (6.4) in the RMAC and Magazzeni placing 16th (5.6). Magazzeni is fifth in the RMAC with a total of 21 blocked shots. Kate Bayes is sixth in the RMAC in steals with a 2.2 average. Brinton is also fourth in the RMAC for field goal percentage, knocking down 54.2 percent of her shots.  
 
The Skyhawks are returning nine letterwinners from last year's team, two of which are starters (Erin Curry and Kaile Magazzeni).  Fort Lewis finished the 2013-14 season 16-11 overall and 13-9 in the RMAC (third place).
 
Since adding the program in 1979-80, Fort Lewis is 495-449 all-time (heading into the 2014-15 season).
 
About the Rangers
Regis enters the weekend with an overall record of 8-5 and a RMAC record of 4-5. The Rangers have a RMAC record of 3-1 this season when playing at home.  Regis is out-scoring opponents by 5.8 points per game.
 
Junior Bay'lee Purdy is averaging 17.2 points per game, the fourth most in the league this season.  Purdy is also shooting 91.3 percent from the free throw line, missing only four free throws on 46 attempts.
 
Three of the league's top 20 rebounders hail from Regis: Kaycee Hert (11th, 6.1 average), Karlyn Johnson (15th, 5.7 average), and Caresse Williams (20th, 5.0 average).
 
The Series vs. Regis
The Skyhawks hold an overall record of 11-17 against Regis. The Rangers are 3-10 at home against Fort Lewis. The Skyhawks last win at Regis was Jan. 18, 2013. 
 
About the Roadrunners
The Roadrunners have an overall record of 9-4, with an RMAC record of 6-3. MSU Denver holds a 4-1 mark at home this season when playing a conference team.
 
Deni Jacobs is averaging a team best 15.2 points per game while fellow teammates Georgia Ohrdorf and Emily Hartegan are averaging 11.4 and 10.3 points per game, respectfully.
 
Jacobs and Ohrdorf are ranked sixth and ninth in the league in rebounds, recording 7.5 and 6.8 rebounds per game.  Three Roadrunners are ranked in the top 10 in the league in field goal percentage: Ohrdorf (second, 55.6), Hartegan (third, 54.5), and Jacobs (seventh, 50.7).  The Roadrunners are out scoring their opponents by 3.8 points per game this season.   
 
The Series vs. MSU Denver
The last win for the Skyhawks against MSU Denver was an overtime win on Feb. 2, 2014 at MSU Denver.  Fort Lewis has a 16-21 record against MSU Denver all-time. MSU Denver is 7-10 all time at home when facing the Skyhawks.
