Matisse Monty recorded a match high 15 kills and senior
Shelby Lehman added 12 kills and hit .455 offensively to lead the Fort Lewis College volleyball team to a 3-1 win at New Mexico Highlands University Friday night. The win snapped a 10 match losing streak and was the Skyhawks first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference win of the season.
FLC dropped the first set, 25-23, but won the next three sets to take the match, 25-23, 25-18, 25-21.
As a team, the Skyhawks hit .225 in the match with 55 kills.
Delaney Scanlan recorded 41 of the Skyhawks 53 set assists. Junior libero
Ally Dell'Amico tallied 28 digs and
Clara Salopek added 14.
Hannah Hargrove posted two solo blocks and assisted on another to go with her five kills.
Fort Lewis (4-11, 1-6 RMAC) will travel to Western New Mexico Saturday night. First serve will go out at 7 p.m.
