SILVER CITY, N.M. – October 10, 2015 – The Fort Lewis College volleyball team went to five sets Saturday night at Western New Mexico University and came close to handing the Mustangs their first loss of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference season. Instead, the Mustangs improved to 9-0 in the RMAC with a 3-2 win.
Delaney Scanlan tallied 38 assists on the Skyhawks 45 kills.
Matisse Monty led the offense with 15 kills and added 13 digs.
Ally Dell'Amico posted 22 digs and
Maddie LeBlanc hit .182 at the net with eight kills.
The Skyhawks will return home to play three matches next week, beginning Tuesday against Adams State University, followed by Friday's match against Colorado Mesa University and Saturday's match against Westminster College.
