No. 25 Skyhawks, No. 7 Orediggers Scoreless Through 110 Minutes

GOLDEN, Colo. – October 23, 2015 – For the second straight week, the No. 25 Fort Lewis College Skyhawks and No. 7 Colorado School of Mines played to a double overtime draw.  The Skyhawks and Orediggers recorded a 0-0 tie Friday night at Stermole Stadium in Golden, Colo., one week after they notched a 1-1 double overtime tie in Durango, Colo.
 
The Skyhawks were outshot 23-15 but both teams landed nine shots on frame.  The Skyhawks played the final 11:24 of the game a man down when Laurin Weiland received his second yellow card of the game.
 
Tamino Kroeger landed three of his team high four shots on goal.  Yannis Becker added three shots (two on goal) while both of Austin Derksen's shots were on goal.
 
Elliot Chadderton made nine saves in 110 minutes for his sixth shutout of the season.
 
The Skyhawks will play their final road game of the regular season on Sunday at Colorado Christian at 11 a.m.
