DURANGO, Colo. – October 25, 2015 – The 18th ranked Fort Lewis College women's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw against MSU Denver Sunday afternoon at Dirks Field.  The draw moves the Skyhawks to 10-4-2 overall and 8-2-1 in league games.

FLC is the second seed in the 2015 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament and will receive a first round bye.  Colorado School of Mines secured the regular season championship with their win today over UCCS and the Skyhawks tie.

Brooke Milliet scored the first goal of the game at 51:05 from Shayla Malecki's assist after a scramble in front of the box.  The Roadrunners tied the game six minutes later when Josalyn Martin cleaned up Elise Boisnard's first shot attempt on goal that was saved.

MSU Denver edged FLC on shot attempts, 19-18, and shots on goal, 10-6.  Renee Terrell led both teams with seven shot attempts (three shots on goal).

Prior to kickoff, the Skyhawks recognized three seniors on Senior Day – Ana Moran, Milliet and Caitlyn Espinosa.

The Skyhawks will wrap up the regular season with two non-conference games at UCCS on Friday and at Western State on Sunday.
