No. 15 Skyhawks Add another Win

ALAMOSA, Colo. – October 7, 2015 – Courtney Riley found Carolyn Archer at 58:47 to lift the 15th ranked Fort Lewis College women's soccer team to a 1-0 win Wednesday afternoon at Adams State University.

The win improves the Skyhawks to an 8-2-1 overall record and a league best 6-1-0 (18 points).

Archer's goal was her first of the season and Riley's assist was her first of the season.

"It was a really good goal from Courtney to Carol," said head coach Jimmy Hall.  "It's always tough to play on the road.  Adams State kept the ball very well.  But we had some good possessions to create quality attacks."

Kodie Johnson saw her first action between the posts after making five saves in 90 minutes of action.

FLC was outshot, 15-12, but both teams landed five shots on goal.

The Skyhawks will travel to No. 23 Colorado Mines Friday for a 7:30 p.m. game.
