The Fort Lewis College women's basketball team dropped their first home game of the season Friday to Colorado Mines, 57-56.  The Orediggers held the Skyhawks to season lows in points (56), field goals made (16), field goal percentage (.254), and assists (8).

The Skyhawks rebounded Saturday night to post a 14-point win over Colorado Christian University.

For the fifth straight week, FLC has been ranked in the 2015-16 Women's Basketball Division II South Central Regional Poll.  After being ranked No. 5 for the past three weeks, the Skyhawks dropped down to 10 in the region after Friday's loss.

FLC will play their final games of the 2015 calendar year on the road at Colorado State-Pueblo on Friday, and at Western State Colorado University on Saturday.

The ThunderWolves enter the weekend as one of three RMAC teams undefeated in the league (Colorado Mines, Black Hills State).  WSCU is tied for fifth place in the Mountain Division with a 1-2 RMAC record (3-2 overall).  FLC is tied for third in the Mountain Division and tied for fourth overall in the league (2-1 RMAC, 6-2 overall).

FLC will face the top shot blocking team in the league Friday at CSU-Pueblo (33 blocks).  The ThunderWolves are also the best field goal shooting team (41.5%) and top rebounding team (388 total rebounds).

The Skyhawks lead the league in made free throws with 51.  FLC is second in the RMAC in assists (114), defensive rebounds per game (29), free throw attempts (182), rebounds per game (44.3), scoring margin (17.1), scoring offense (74.9) and three-point field goals attempted (171).
