VideoQuick HitsFort Lewis College, which has received votes in the NABC national poll the past two weeks, suffered their first loss of the regular season on Saturday at Adams State University, 73-65. Â The game also marked the RMAC season opening game.
FLC shot a season high free throw percentage at Adams State, sinking 15 of 17 attempts for 88.2 percent.
Before Saturday's loss, the Skyhawks 5-0 start was the fifth time in school history they have started a season 5-0. Â FLC's best start to the season was 6-0 in 1977-78 under then head coach Chuck Walker.
FLC has used the same five starters through the first six games of the season:

Jared Smith.
Fort Lewis is outscoring their opponents by 12.2 points per game.

Fort Lewis will play host to Colorado School of Mines on Friday and Colorado Christian University on Saturday. Â The Orediggers have the second best overall mark in the league with a 6-1 record. Â Both CSM and CCU faced off against eachother on last Saturday night. Â The Orediggers won the matchup, 79-73.
