DURANGO, Colo. – September 25, 2015 –
Zac Lawrence scored one goal and assisted on another to lead the Fort Lewis College men's soccer team to a 3-1 win over Colorado State University-Pueblo Friday afternoon at Dirks Field. The Skyhawks improve their winning streak to six games as they move to 6-2-0 overall.
Lawrence scored the first goal of the game at 34:39 after driving down the left side of the field from
Martin Lopez' assist.

Yannis Becker at 60:34 who landed a shot into the top right corner of the net for a 2-0 Skyhawks lead. The Skyhawks final goal of the game came at 74:31 when Lawrence took a corner kick from the left side to
Sean Cleary who headed it into the net.
Matt Marchena prevented the Skyhawks shutout when he scored on a penalty kick at 86:56.
The ThunderWolves fall to 4-3-0.
Friday's game is counted as a non-conference game in the league standings.
Elliot Chadderton stopped seven shots on goal. The Skyhawks recorded 26 shots (13 shots on goal). CSU-Pueblo finished the game with 16 shots (eight shots on goal).
Fort Lewis will be back in action next Friday during FLC Homecoming Week. The Skyhawks will face Westminster College for the first time in school history. The home game at Dirks Field will kick off at 3 p.m.
