DURANGO, Colo. – September 26, 2015 – The Fort Lewis College volleyball team was held to a .063 hitting percentage and a 48.0 sideout percentage as they fell to MSU Denver in straight sets Saturday night at Whalen Gymnasium, 25-18, 26-24, 25-18.
Ally Dell'Amico led the defensive effort with a match high 15 digs. Defensively at the net,
Hannah Hargrove added two solo blocks and assisted on two others. She also added four kills.
Matisse Monty tallied a team high seven kills while
Maddie LeBlanc added six and
Shelby Lehman posted five.
Kendra Swackenberg assisted on 12 kills and
Delaney Scanlan added 10.
Vasati Fiatoa of MSU Denver led both teams with nine kills and a .444 hitting percentage.
The Skyhawks (3-9, 0-4 RMAC) will remain home next weekend as they play host to Colorado School of Mines on Friday at 7 p.m. and Colorado Christian University on Saturday at 5 p.m.
