LAKEWOOD, Colo. – October 14, 2016 –
Laurin Weiland converted on a penalty kick at 8:42 for his first goal of the season and the game-winning goal as the Fort Lewis College men's soccer team shutout Colorado Christian University Friday afternoon at Trailblazer Stadium in Lakewood, Colo.
With the win, FLC improves to 7-6 overall and 6-3 in conference games. The Cougars fall to 1-12 overall and 1-8 in the RMAC.

Churchill Onumonu for a breakaway goal at 61:07. The goal was Onumonu's team-leading sixth goal of the season.
The third and final goal of the game came at 80:09 when
Andres Lopez assisted his twin brother
Martin Lopez who collected a deflected pass and sent the ball into the upper right corner of the net for his second goal of the year.
FLC tallied 24 shots to the Cougars six shots, including a 16-1 shots on goal advantage.
Jatta led both teams with five shots (three shots on goal) while Weiland added four shots and three shots on goal.
The Skyhawks will travel to Colorado School of Mines for a 12 p.m. match on Sunday, Oct. 16.
