DENVER – October 15, 2016 – The Fort Lewis College volleyball team recorded a season high 39 kills (three set match) and posted a hitting percentage of .224 but fell to Regis University Saturday night in three sets (-23, -19, -15).
The Rangers finished the match hitting .394 after tallying 52 kills on 109 attempts and committing only nine hitting errors.
Matisse Monty and
Laine Waters led the Skyhawks offensively. Monty notched 11 kills and hit .320 while Waters added 10 kills and a .529 hitting mark after only one error on 17 attempts.
Hannah Martinez, Monty and
Ally Dell'Amico each posted 10 digs.
Kendra Swackenberg recorded 29 of the Skyhawks 33 set assists.
Katie Klein of Regis led both teams with 16 kills.
FLC will travel to Adams State Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. match.
