Game Recap: Women's Soccer | | Sarah Meier, Assistant Athletic Director

Women’s Soccer Held Scoreless by No. 10 Orediggers, 1-0

DURANGO, Colo. – October 28, 2016 – The No. 10 ranked team in the nation – Colorado School of Mines - held the Fort Lewis College women's soccer team scoreless Friday afternoon at Dirks Field in a 1-0 setback for the Skyhawks.  The loss moves FLC to 6-7-2 overall and 5-5-1 in league games.
 
Haley Cole scored the game-winning goal for CSM at 69:49 after heading the ball five yards out from the net. 
 
The Skyhawks were held to a season low two shots (both on goal), with both coming in the second half.
 
CSM posted 16 shots (seven shots on goal).  Goalkeeper Kaylee Mickens made six saves in goal.
 
The Skyhawks will wrap up the regular season on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. against Colorado Christian University at Dirks Field.  The game will mark Senior Day for the Skyhawks five seniors: Dayli Schmieder, Haleigh Macomb, Keisha Green, Courtney Riley and Carolyn Archer.
