GOLDEN, Colo. – October 7, 2016 – Colorado School of Mines tallied 45 kills and hit .161 at the net to post a 3-0 win over the Fort Lewis College volleyball team Friday night in Golden, Colo. The Skyhawks fell -24, -23 and -13. The loss drops FLC to 4-11 overall and 3-4 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Matisse Monty led the Skyhawks offense with eight kills. She added four digs and four block assists.
Kendra Swackenberg notched 19 set assists, two kills and nine digs, while
Ally Dell'Amico paced the back row with 16 digs.
As a team, FLC posted 11 team blocks.
Laine Waters finished with two solo blocks and four assisted blocks.
The Skyhawks will travel to Colorado Christian University Saturday afternoon for a 2 p.m. match.
