DURANGO, Colo. – November 4, 2016 – Colorado Christian University recorded 49 kills and served up eight aces to sweep the Fort Lewis College volleyball team Friday night in Whalen Gymnasium (25-21, 25-17, 25-18).
With the three set loss, FLC drops to 5-18 overall and 4-11 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Bailey Longacre hit a solid .500 at the net after posting nine kills on 18 attempts.
Laine Waters and
Hannah Martinez each added four kills.
Kendra Swackenberg recorded 26 assists and 11 digs. The back row was led by
Ally Dell'Amico with 18 digs.
Taylor Strums led all players with 12 kills and Abigail Bartalo served up five of the Cougars eight aces.
FLC will play host to No. 22 Colorado School of Mines Saturday at 5 p.m. The Skyhawks three seniors –
Ally Dell'Amico,
Delaney Scanlan and
Nicole Williams will be honored before the match.
