2016 RMAC BracketDURANGO, Colo. – February 26, 2016 – The No. 8 ranked team in the nation – the Fort Lewis College men's basketball team – made 56.3 percent of their shots from three-point range to roll past Adams State University Friday night at Whalen Gymnasium, 103-73.
The win closes out the Skyhawks regular season record at 24-3 overall and 19-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The 24 wins are the most regular season wins in program history, and it ties the most wins ever in program history. Tonight's win also keeps the Skyhawks home record unblemished at 14-0.
FLC made 18-of-32 three-point field goals, just three off of tying the school record. The Skyhawks made 8-of-13 three-pointers in the first half for 61.5 percent to take a commanding 56-29 lead at halftime.
Kofi Josephs came off the bench and was two three-pointers away from tying the school record for most threes made in a game. All 21 of Josephs points came from downtown as he netted 7-of-13.
Joshua Blaylock added 20 points after sinking 6-of-9 field goals, 4-of-5 three-point field goals and all four free throw attempts.
Cade Kloster only missed one of seven field goal attempts as he recorded 15 points.
Will Morse hit 4-of-5 from behind the arc as part of his 14 points. Morse also dished out five assists.
Rasmus Bach was perfect from the free throw line on all six attempts as he finished with 13 points.
The Skyhawks never trailed in the game and led by as many as 43 points in the second half. FLC finished the game shooting 56.9 percent from the floor (33-of-58).
The 2016 RMAC Regular Season Champions will host No. 8 seed Colorado State University-Pueblo Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the RMAC Quarterfinal game.
