WICHITA FALLS, Texas – September 11, 2016 – A penalty kick by Midwestern State University at 39:48 was the difference maker Sunday afternoon as the Fort Lewis College women's soccer team lost a 1-0 decision in Wichita Falls, Texas.
"We did a good job in the second half," said head coach
Jimmy Hall. "We put them on their heels and pressed them. I don't think we came out strong enough in the first half. We need to come out faster in the beginning."
The loss moves the Skyhawks to 1-2-1 overall while MSU improves to 2-1-2.
Both teams recorded 12 shots each.
Renee Terrell came off the bench to lead the Skyhawks with three shots.
