DURANGO, Colo. – September 16, 2016 –
Renee Terrell's first goal of the season came in the 102
nd minute of overtime to lift the Fort Lewis College women's soccer team to a 3-2 double overtime home opening win Friday afternoon against Colorado State-Pueblo at Dirks Field.
With the win, FLC improves to 2-2-1 overall and 1-0-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The ThunderWolves move to 3-2-0 overall and 0-1-0 in league games.
Shayla Malecki netted her third goal of the season at 8:21 after she cleaned up a rebound from
Carolyn Archer's free kick for a 1-0 Skyhawks lead. The Pack tied the game eight minutes later form Kacie Licata's goal.

Alicia Sanchez who shot from center on goal to give the Skyhawks the lead back, 2-1. In the 62
nd minute, CSU-Pueblo tied the game again after scoring on a set play from a throw-in.
Both teams played the first overtime without a goal before Terrell found the back of the net at 101:35 when she cleaned up a rebound off a Pack player for the game-winner.
The Skyhawks edged CSUP in shots (15-11) and shots on goal (9-7).
Sanchez led both teams with four shots while Terrell came off the bench to add three shot attempts and a game high three shots on goal.
Kaylee Mickens saw her first action of the season in goal, making five saves between the posts.
The Skyhawks will play host to New Mexico Highlands University on Sunday at 12 p.m.
