DURANGO, Colo. – September 30, 2016 – Colorado Mesa University hit .321 at the net to sweep the Fort Lewis College volleyball team Friday night at Whalen Gymnasium (25-12, 25-21, 25-17).  The loss drops the Skyhawks to 3-10 overall and 2-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.  Colorado Mesa University improves to 10-3 overall and 4-1 in league matches.
 
The Mavericks doubled their kills output with 51 while FLC posted 25 as a team. 
 
Matisse Monty led the offensive attack with seven kills.  Delaney Scanlan notched 17 assists and seven digs while Ally Dell'Amico led the back row with11 digs.  Emily Dellenbach hit .417 offensively after putting down six kills on 12 attempts (one error).
 
Mackenzie Edwards led both teams with 13 kills.  Ali Svorinic accumulated 43 of the Mavericks 48 kills.
 
The Skyhawks will play host to Western State Colorado University Saturday evening at 5 p.m.
