UPCOMING GAMES
The Fort Lewis College women's basketball team will look to continue their six game winning streak this weekend on the Front Range. The Skyhawks will face off at MSU Denver on Friday at 5 p.m., followed by Saturday's game at UCCS at 5:30 p.m. Friday's game against the Roadrunners will be broadcast on Comcast Entertainment Television (CET).
NOTES
FLC is third in the league standings with a 6-2 conference record and 11-2 overall record.
The last time FLC had a six game winning streak was during the 2012-13 season (Dec. 17, 2012 – Jan. 18, 2013).
Fort Lewis earned two wins to close out the calendar year at Chadron State College (78-69) and at Regis (58-49).
Sophomore forward
Alyssa Yocky was tabbed the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week, becoming the first Skyhawk to earn the weekly award this season.
Yocky averaged 15 rebounds (8.5 defensive rebounds), 14.5 points and one blocked shot in the road sweep.
At CSC, she tallied 17 rebounds (eight defensive rebounds), four assists, one blocked shot and scored 21 points. The next night she added 13 rebounds (nine defensive rebounds), one assist, one blocked shot and eight points.
Yocky's 9.0 rebounds per game this season is the second highest average in the league.
Briana Clah ranks fourth among all RMAC players in scoring. Clah is averaging 14.7 points per game.
Ande Lampert has blocked 21 shots in 13 games, the second most blocked shots of any RMAC player.
Fort Lewis owns the best mark in the conference in blocked shots (5.0), offensive rebounds (44.1 per game), defensive rebounds (32.8 per game), field goal defense (32.5 percent), and three-point field goal percentage (24.8 percent).
The Skyhawks have the third best scoring margin in the league (10.1 points), scoring 65.8 points per game and allowing 55.7 points. The 55.7 points allowed are the second fewest in the league (tied with Regis).
SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
MSU Denver is tied for sixth place in the league with a 4-3 RMAC record. The Roadrunners are 8-6 overall and 4-3 when playing on their home court.
The Roadrunners are averaging 63 points per game. They have the best shooting mark from long range, hitting 35.7 percent of their shots, and the best scoring defense, allowing 55.4 points per game.
Georgia Ohrdorf leads the team in scoring with 13.7 points per game.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN LIONS
UCCS is currently on a 13-game home winning streak, dating back to last season. The Mountain Lions are 9-4 overall this season and 6-1 against RMAC opponents. They own a 5-0 home record this season and are 6-1 in their last seven games.
The Mountain Lions are outscoring their opponents by an average of 8.2 points per game (69.5 – 61.2).
Brittany Hernandez leads the team in scoring (16.1 points per game), rebounding (7.9 per game) and blocks (15). Jen Vigil owns a league best 29 steals.

FLC will start a four game home swing Jan. 13-14 against Black Hills State University and South Dakota School of Mines. Both games will tip off at 5:30 p.m.
