LAS VEGAS, N.M. – October 27, 2017 – After winning the opening set Friday night at New Mexico Highlands University, 25-19, the Fort Lewis College volleyball team dropped the next three sets, -20, -17 and -13.
The loss is the seventh straight for the Skyhawks as they move to 8-13 overall and 3-10 in league matches.
The Skyhawks offense was led by
Emily Dellenbach's 13 kills and .231 hitting percentage.
Megan Graefe led the back line with 19 digs, followed by
Addison Hays 12 digs.
Laine Waters notched nine kills and seven blocks assists while hitting a solid .318 at the net.
As a team, FLC finished with 41 kills, nine blocks and seven aces.
Fort Lewis will travel to Colorado State-Pueblo for a 7 p.m. match on Saturday.
