GOLDEN, Colo. – November 4, 2017 – Facing the 17
th ranked team in Division II, the Fort Lewis College volleyball team was swept Saturday night by Colorado School of Mines. The Skyhawks were held to 41 points in the match, falling by sets of -13, -15 and -13.
Fort Lewis hit .168 at the net, totaling 28 kills.
Maddie LeBlanc led the Skyhawks offense with eight kills.
Bailey Longacre hit a solid .357, accumulating six kills on 14 attempts (one error).
Kendra Swackenberg posted 22 set assists and added six digs.
Megan Graefe dug up a team high 14 attacks.
The Orediggers nearly doubled the Skyhawks in kills, finishing with 53 behind Maddie Behr's 18. Behr committed only one error on 29 attempts for a .586 hitting mark.
The Skyhawks will continue their five match road trip when they travel to Westminster College on Monday, Nov. 6.
