- The Fort Lewis College men's basketball team is ranked No. 15 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) in this week's poll.
- This is their fourth straight week being ranked in the NABC Top 25 poll.
- The Skyhawks are home for the weekend to take on Colorado Mesa (5-3, 1-1 RMAC) and Western State (3-5, 1-1 RMAC). The Skyhawks will face the Mavericks on Fri., Dec. 8 at 7:30p.m. and the Mountaineers on Sat., Dec. 9 at 7:30p.m.
- Against the Mavericks, CMU leads the all-time series against FLC, 38-57, and but FLC is 25-19 against the Mavericks in Whalen Gym.
- The Skyhawks lead the all-time series with the Mountaineers 75-38, and they hold a 37-8 record when playing Western at home.
- Fort Lewis enters the weekend 5-1 this season (3-1 vs. NCAA Division II schools).
- The Skyhawks lead the RMAC for in scoring offense (87.8 points per game) and scoring margin (+14.2). The Skyhawks fall within the top five in the league in field goal percentage (.506), rebounding offense (second, 40.0 per game), blocked shots (fifth, 4.0 per game) and assists (second, 18.2 per game).
- Senior Rasmus Bach has scored 1,464 career points. He needs 397 points to break the all-time scoring record held by DeAndre Lansdowne (2007-11) who has 1,861 career points. Bach is currently 6th in all-time career leaders for points and 3rd for free throws (387).
- Bach ranks in the top 10 in the RMAC for free throw percent (T-first,1.000) and assists (fifth, 27, avg. 5.4). He has made all 14 attempts at the charity stripe.
- Brandon Wilson ranks in the top 10 in the league for rebounds with 40(T-fourth), averaging 8.0 per game and field goal percentage with .590.
- Marquel Beasley is ranked second in the RMAC for blocked shots with 11, averaging 2.2 per game and sixth for rebounds with 39, averaging 7.8 per game.
- Riley Farris collected a perfect game against New Mexico Highlands. Farris led all scorers with a career high 31 points after making all 12 field goal attempts, including 4-for-4 from behind the arc, and all three free throw attempts.
- Farris' 12-for-12 field goal performance ties a school record for best field goal percentage in a game (minimum 10 attempts), tying Kevin Hatch's 11-for-11 field goal mark.
