DURANGO, Colo. – April 23, 2017 – Playing in their final home game of the 2017 season, the Fort Lewis College women's lacrosse team charted a 16-6 non-conference win over Colorado State University-Pueblo Sunday afternoon at Ray Dennison Memorial Field.  The win completes the sweep over the Pack as FLC recorded a 10-9 overtime win on March 9 to open the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference season.
 
Sunday's game marked the final home game for five Skyhawks seniors: 
Nikki Fry, 
Megan Longtain, 
Rebecca Miller, 
Alyssa Montoya and 
Alyssa Spencer.
 
The Skyhawks, who never trailed against the ThunderWolves, improve to 7-6 on the regular season.
 
Ryann Pierce led the FLC with five points after she netted three goals and assisted on two more.  
Kelli Warmouth, Fry, Miller, 
Shelby Madden and 
Sammy Delli each scored two goals.  Fry tied Pierce with game high honors with three assists as part of her two goals.
 
Five of Pierce's game high six shot attempts landed on goal.
 
Warmouth tallied a game high five ground balls.
 
Senior goalkeeper Spencer made seven saves before being relieved in goal in the 45
th minute.
 
FLC outshot CSU-Pueblo, 31-19, and edged the Pack in ground balls, 28-25. 
 
The Skyhawks, who have clinched a spot in the RMAC Tournament, will play their final game of the regular season on Friday, April 28 at Adams State University.
