Brandon Wilson notched his sixth double-double of the season to lead Fort Lewis College to an 88-62 home win over Colorado Christian University Saturday afternoon. Wilson tallied 16 points and 15 rebounds while dishing out five assists, blocking three shots and stealing the ball twice.
DJ Miles tied with Wilson for a team best in scoring.
Marquel Beasley poured in 15 points after making all six field goals attempts and both free throw attempts.
Rasmus Bach and
Alex Semadeni each added 12 points. Semadeni was also a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor.
No. 21 FLC (17-3, 13-2 RMAC) shot 55.2 percent from the floor and 23.5 percent from long range while edging the Cougars on the glass, 36-34.
CCU's (4-17, 2-12 RMAC) Marcus Fager led all scorers with 20 points.
The Skyhawks will play host to New Mexico Highlands University and Colorado State University-Pueblo Feb. 2-3.
