Box Score GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – February 10, 2018 – In a game that featured 92 free throw attempts between No. 14 Fort Lewis College and Colorado Mesa University, the Skyhawks earned a 94-89 overtime win Saturday night in Grand Junction, Colo.
The Skyhawks 51 free throw attempts are the third most in school history, and their 42 made free throws are the second most ever made in a game.
FLC (21-3, 17-2) was led by
Rasmus Bach's 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Bach made 4-of-10 from the floor and 15-of-16 free throws.
Daniel Hernandez produced nine of his 19 points from long range.
Alex Semadeni chipped in 17 points after making 5-of-6 field goals and all six free throw attempts. Semadeni also pulled down nine free throws and blocked three shots.
The Skyhawks outrebounded CMU, 44-38, including 12-7 on the offensive glass.
FLC made 38.7 percent from the floor (24-62), 25 percent from long range (4-of-16) and 82.4 percent from the charity stripe.
Fort Lewis will head to Golden, Colo. to take on the Orediggers on Feb 16 at 7 p.m.
