ST. CHARLES, Mo. – March 7, 2018 – Facing their second nationally ranked opponent in five days and playing their third road game in five days, the Fort Lewis College women's lacrosse team fell to No. 3 Lindenwood University Wednesday in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action, 16-5.
The loss moves the Skyhawks to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in RMAC matches. The Lions remain undefeated at 6-0 (1-0 RMAC).
Taylor Cabrera netted both goals for the Skyhawks in the first half. FLC trailed the Lions at halftime, 7-2.

Anna Dennison and
Kelli Warmouth each found the back of the net in the second half. Warmouth added two assists in the game.
The Skyhawks picked up 20 ground balls against the Lions. Cabrera and
Ryanne Brust led FLC with four each. Warmouth and Dennison accounted for three draw controls each, and six of the team's seven draw controls.
Daris Wienk made 10 saves in goal while playing all 60 minutes between the posts.
The Skyhawks will travel to Shawnee, Okla. on Friday, March 9 to face Oklahoma Baptist University at 5 p.m.
