SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Fort Lewis College women's soccer team got ahead early and never looked back in a 2-0 win over Black Hills State University on Friday afternoon. Sophomore Katlyn Rosenbaum and junior Katherine Dunbabin split time at goalkeeper with the duo totaling five saves.

Lewis found an opportunity just two minutes into the contest, dribbling the ball past a pair of defenders into the box. The senior sent a shot on goal, but a defender crashed in to block the attempt. Sophomore Aubrey Swindle and senior Katie Smith added offensive pressure in the following minutes, but the score remained locked at zeros. The Yellow Jackets countered with two shots on goal with Rosenbaum earning saves on each attempt.
