FLC Men's Basketball to host team camp, three individual summer camps

DURANGO, Colorado — Summer basketball camps return to Whalen Gymnasium this June and July as the Fort Lewis College men's basketball program announced its four on-campus camp dates.

Online registration is currently open for a high school teams camp, scheduled for June 24-26, and three individual skills camps open to a wide variety of age groups (4th-12th grade).

For the team camp, interested high school teams or individual parties will be guaranteed six games. All teams must have a minimum of seven players per team. The cost to attend is $70 per player for commuters and $120 per player for boarders (two nights in the dorms).

All boarder campers must produce proof of a negative Covid-19 test or be vaccinated prior to staying in the FLC dorms.

As for the individual camps, FLC men's basketball will offer three camp dates, starting with Camp #1 on June 7-10. Individual Camp #2 runs June 14-17 and Individual Camp #3 is scheduled for June 28-July 1.

Individual Camp #1 will be open to commuters only and costs $200 per player (lunch included). Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noon on Thursdays each week.

Starting with Individual Camp #2, a boarder option will be available for $300 per camper with all meals included.

FLC is offering multiple Commuter Camp Bundle options for those interested in attending multiple Individual Camps. The cost drops to $350 for a commuter to attending two camps or $500 per camper to attend all three.
