COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three individual Skyhawks from the Fort Lewis College football team have garnered All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors, the league announced Thursday morning.

Leading the trio and capturing his first, Second-Team All-RMAC honor is Hunter Villavicencio. The junior kicker/punter from Fort Worth, Texas, earns the honor as a punter after making every boot for the Skyhawks on fourth down across the season. Villavicencio totaled 64 punts on the year to lead the RMAC in total yards with 2,637 and punts over 50+ yards with 15 including the league's third-best yards per punt average (43.2). Not only has Villavicencio dropped 13 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line, but he also owns the eighth and tenth-longest punts in NCAA Division II with marks of 76 and 75 yards.

Senior Peyton Monson walks away from his final season as an All-RMAC Honorable Mention, the first of his career. Monson was a consistent presence at wide receiver and as a kick returner where he led the conference and ranked ninth in Division II with 633 yards – 183 yards more than the next closest returner in the RMAC – and made one of three kick returns for a touchdown (89-yard return) among the league's top-ten returners. At wide receiver, Monson recorded a team-high 42 receptions for 353 yards and three touchdowns.

Capturing his first All-RMAC Honorable Mention is junior Jacob LaCroix. The Phelan, Calif., native started all eleven games for the Skyhawks at left tackle. LaCroix's efforts played a pivotal role in Fort Lewis' offensive ability to cut down on opponents sacks 49-to-36 from last year while also scoring the most points (146) since 2018 and posting six games with over 300 yards of total offense for the first time since 2016.

Colorado School of Mines' John Matocha was named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Year, Nolan Reeve the Defensive Player of the Year, and Blake Doud the Special Teams Player of the Year. Colorado State University Pueblo owns the RMAC Offensive and Defensive Freshmen of the Year in Senon Chapple and Gary Seidenberger, respectively. Western Colorado University Head Coach Jas Bains was named the Coach of the Year.
