DURANGO, Colo. – The Nick Turner Invitational made its Durango debut on Monday afternoon up at Hillcrest Golf Club on the rim with the hometown Fort Lewis women's golf team earning a tie for second place through the first round led by Dimery Plewe's third-place individual standing.

The Skyhawks shot a combined 312 (+24) through the first 18 holes to stand tied with fellow south-central region foe Lubbock Christian. In addition, all four of FLC's team-score-contributing players, including Plewe, Vivianna Holguin, Peyton Gibby, and Isabel Bustillos, each reside within the top 20 on the individual scoreboards alongside Sabrina Ladd, who sits in a tie for 14th as an individual with an eight-over-par 80.
