COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has announced its 2024 All-Conference football teams, with Fort Lewis' Jacob Penney and Orlando Guevara earning Second-Team nods while four additional Skyhawks earned Honorable Mention accolades, the league announced on Wednesday.

Penney, a redshirt sophomore and Spanish Springs High School graduate in Sparks, Nevada, is headlining the Skyhawks All-Conference selections. The six-foot linebacker finished the regular season as the league's leading tackler with 122 on the season including 75 solo and 47 assisted, a mark that's good for the fourth-most tackles in DII and the fifth-most tackles per game (11.1). Additionally, Penney recorded eight tackles for a combined 25 yards lost, four quarterback hurries, forced three fumbles, and made one fumble recovery.

Guevara, a true freshman and former Denver South High School track star, earns Second-Team honors after making an impact across the board, but most notably, on kickoff return. Senior offensive lineman Jacob LaCroix earns his second-straight Honorable Mention All-RMAC accolade, while sophomore Cheilotam Udengwu picks up his first. Each member of the duo started all eleven games on the offensive line and helped the Skyhawks offense to the most points scored (201) and points per game (18.27) since 2018, resulting in Fort Lewis' first three-win season since 2019. With LaCroix and Udengwu up front, the Skyhawks offense also rushed for an average of 125.8 yards per game, marking the first 100+ yard average for a season since 2017.

Sophomore free safety Kalib Davis earns the first Honorable Mention All-RMAC nod of his career after the Aurora, Colo., native finished second on the Fort Lewis roster with 69 total tackles featuring 48 solo and 21 assisted with 2.5 tackles for seven yards lost. While Davis ranks 12th in the RMAC in total tackles, the Cherokee Trail High School also finished in a four-way tie for the most interceptions with four. Davis also added two pass breakups, one quarterback hurry, and both forced and recovered one fumble.
