RMAC announces 2024 Football Media Day Kickoff event

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has announced its 2024 Football Media Day Kickoff event for Friday, Aug. 2, at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in the Denver Tech Center in Denver, Colo.
 
The day will consist of 11 media sessions, each spanning 30-minute windows, beginning with opening remarks from RMAC Commissioner Chris Graham at 8:30 a.m. Mountain Standard Time. Following Commissioner Graham's opening remarks, each of the 10 RMAC football programs will then participate in 30-minute media sessions, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The entire RMAC Football Media Day Kickoff will be broadcast live on the RMAC Network and will conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m.
 
The RMAC Football Preseason Coaches Poll will be announced on Wednesday, July 31, at 10:00 a.m. MT, and will determine the time slot of each football program's 30-minute media session. All-RMAC Honorable Mention offensive lineman Jacob LaCroix and senior cornerback Asa Roberson will join Fort Lewis College Head Coach Johnny Cox.
 
Team media sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m., with the No. 10 team in the RMAC Football Preseason Coaches Poll. The No. 9 team will then begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the No. 8 team at 10:00 a.m., the No. 7 team at 10:30 a.m., the No. 6 team at 11:00 a.m. and the No. 5 team at 11:30 a.m. The No. 4 team in the RMAC Football Preseason Coaches Poll will begin at noon, followed by the No. 3 team at 12:30 p.m., the No. 2 team at 1:00 p.m. and the No. 1 team at 1:30 p.m.

Skyhawks football opens the 2024 season at home against William Jewell on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 2:00 p.m. on Ray Dennison Memorial Field.
