Third-annual Casino Night set for August 9

DURANGO, Colo. -- The Fort Lewis College Department of Athletics has announced it will host the third annual Skyhawks Club Casino Night on Saturday, August 9th.

The event, presented by FCI Constructors and ImageNet, supports scholarships and student-athlete enhancements. The event will be held in Whalen Gymnasium on the campus of Fort Lewis College. Sky Ute Casino Resort has partnered to provide gaming for the event. Refreshments will be provided by A&L Coors and Durango Coca-Cola, while dinner stations will feature Perbacco, Grassburger, and Gazpachos. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has donated treats for all guests at each table. 

Last year, the inaugural event raised over $60,000 and closed out a record-breaking external year for Skyhawks Athletics. More information about the 2024 external year can be found HERE.

"Our Skyhawks Club Casino Night is turning into a tradition that you don't want to miss. It has quickly become a premier social event committed to raising support for scholarships and program enhancements," said Whipple. "The energy from this event sets the tone for the year ahead, and it's awesome to see the support at an all-time high for our Skyhawks."

The Skyhawks Club Casino Night will feature gaming tables, interaction with coaches, auction items, and plenty of excitement. Table packages begin at $1,000, and there are a variety of ways to get involved.
