Records fall at CSUP Last Chance Meet

PUEBLO, Colo. – Skyhawks outdoor track sent five to the CSU Pueblo Last Chance Meet on Saturday and came away with two school records as well as personal bests.

The Skyhawks began the day with the men's 5000m featuring the duo of freshman Crewe Resendez and junior Caden Resendez. Crewe led the way with a fifth-place time of 15:20.19, followed by Caden in seventh place at 15:32.40.

Freshman Brody Hubbard followed in the 1500m, where he picked up an NCAA Provisional mark, established a school record, and placed first thanks to an altitude-converted time of 3:45.79. Freshman Payton Whitehead was the next to break a school record. This one in the 800m, where he placed second with a converted time of 1:51.76. Freshman Armando Fuentes followed in fourth place at 1:53.05.
