Volleyball picked 11th in RMAC Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --  The Fort Lewis College volleyball team was selected to finish 11th in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) in the 2025 Preseason Coaches Poll, announced Tuesday.

The Skyhawks finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 10-16 and a conference mark of 6-8. They were 4-4 at home and 4-6 on the road.

MSU Denver enters the season as the favorite to capture the title, earning 13 first-place votes and 194 points. Colorado Mesa followed with a pair of first-place votes at 183 points. Colorado Christian (162 points), South Dakota Mines (154 points), and CSU Pueblo (133 points) round out the top five. Fort Lewis garnered 59 points, coming in ahead of Western Colorado, Chadron State, New Mexico Highlands, and Black Hills State.

Fort Lewis opens the season with the WNMU Invite, a two-day, four-match tournament in Silver City, New Mexico. The Skyhawks will face New Mexico Highlands, Western New Mexico, Eastern New Mexico, and Sul Ross State.
