DURANGO, Colo. – The Fort Lewis College 2024 men's soccer team has been rewarded for its exemplary performance off the pitch last fall and has been named a 2024-25 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award winner.

To be eligible, a program must boast a 3.0 grade point average or higher. The Skyhawks men boasted a 3.28 GPA last year and were one of two programs from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference to garner the award, alongside Colorado School of Mines. Last fall, Skyhawks midfielder David Citron, a Division II Conference Commissioner's Association Third-Team All-American, was named a College Sports Communicators First-Team Academic All-RMAC, the RMAC Academic Player of the Year, and earned the RMAC Summit Award for the highest GPA at the final site of competition for the RMAC Men's Soccer Tournament.

Former defender Jakob Larson, midfielder Thomas Kirkham, and forward Gabriel Legendre were each named to the CSC Academic All-District team, with Kirkham also earning a First-Team Academic All-RMAC distinction. In addition, Larson, Legendre, Anton Hjalmarsson, Aidan Hartman, and Quinn Bosanko were each named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
