SOUTH JORDAN, Utah – The Fort Lewis women's golf team slid one spot on the final standings Monday afternoon, capturing a tie for fourth place at the Westminster Wasatch Invitational on a 621 (+45) over at Glenmoor Golf Club.

The team's finish marks the highest in a tournament with seven or more teams since taking fourth among ten teams at the Farmers Insurance Sam Proal Invitational back on Sept. 4, 2018. It also marks Fort Lewis' highest finish of the season, and a five-spot jump from last weekend.

The Skyhawks split with Colorado Christian, while besting fellow Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference members Colorado Mesa (635, +59) and Adams State (709, +133), who finished in seventh and 11th place, respectively. Host-institution Westminster won the event overall, carding a 610 (+34) as a team to come back and edge Westmont College (611, +35) by a single stroke.

Dimery Plewe led the Skyhawks overall, carding a four-over-par 76 in her final round to bring her total for the tournament to 150 (+6), good enough to stand alone in seventh place on the individual leaderboard. Isabel Bustillos also held onto her top 10 standing, earning a tie for ninth place on a 152 (+8) overall despite dropping two strokes in the final round.

Peyton Gibby also earned herself a top 25 finish, forcing a split for 24th on the strength of a 157 () with single-round scores of 82 (+10) and 75 (+3), a seven-stroke improvement, but Gibby competed unattached and could not contribute to the team's overall score. Kathryn Moores and Sarah Grenemyer rounded out the scores for Fort Lewis, finishing one stroke apart in ties for 30th (159, +15) and 32nd (160, +16), respectively. Annike Gutierrez rounded out all players from FLC with a 169 (+25) and a tie for 48th.
