Jordan Jennings at the Otter Invitational

Fall 2025

Redshirt junior Traejan Andrews highlighted the preseason releases for Fort Lewis, with the Greeley, Colo., native being named to Preseason All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. An All-RMAC Second-Team selection last spring, Andrews was the Skyhawks’ lone individual qualifier at the 2025 NCAA West South Central Regional. Andrews previously medaled earlier in the year, winning the Ruidoso Junior Golf Association South Central Shootout on a 211 (-5).

The Skyhawks had a packed fall schedule, competing in six tournaments from the Pilgrim’s Run Invitational on Sept. 8-9 through the Otter Invitational from Oct. 13-14. Fort Lewis’s highest team finish of the fall came in its second appearance of the season at the Travis Roy Memorial Invitational up at The Powder Horn Golf Club in Sheridan, Wyo., as the Skyhawks secured fifth-place on the back of a 594 (+18) team score.

Two Skyhawks placed inside the top 20, led by a T-9th finish from Andrews, who fired off a 74 (+2) in round one and backed it up with a 70 (-2) in round two, finishing at an even par of 144 and two strokes back from the top five. Jake Chesler trailed closely behind in T-14th, as the senior carded scores of 76 (+4) and 71 (-1) to finish at 147 (+3) overall.

Andrews matched his fall-best with a ninth-place finish at the season-opening Pilgrim’s Run Invitational (Sept. 8-9), shooting a three-over-par 222 through three rounds at Pilgrim’s Run Golf Club in Pierson, Mich. Senior Jordan Jennings notched a T-11th placing at a familiar Bridges Golf & Country Club for the San Juan Intercollegiate (Sept. 22-23), carding a 209 (-4) and finishing three strokes from his career-low. MGOLF Randy Stueve Hiring

Interim Head Coach Randy Stueve

Randy Stueve was recently named the Fort Lewis College Interim Head Men's Golf Coach ahead of the spring campaign. Stueve is no stranger to the Skyhawks, as he previously served as a volunteer mental performance coach for both the men's and women's golf teams last fall.
