Hartwell brings home 5k title on final day of RMAC Championships

PUEBLO, Colo. – Senior Hannah Hartwell was one of three Skyhawks to earn All-Conference honors on the final day of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Outdoor Track Championships, pacing the group with an individual title.

Hartwell teamed up with senior Alliyah Molina to go one and three in the women's 5000m, both earning First Team All-Conference accolades. Hartwell finished four seconds ahead of Maggie McCleskey from Adams State, going for a time of 16:57.21 for a season best. Molina crossed in third place with a time of 17:26.31—23 seconds faster than the fourth-place finisher.

Junior Elijah Smith added Second Team All-Conference nods in the men's 5000m after finishing in sixth place. Smith worked his way out of a 13th-place spot early in the race, climbing as high as third before settling into the sixth spot with a time of 15:10.63.
