Dietz started in all 39 games played in her inaugural season as a Skyhawk... produced 39 hits in 121 at-bats for a .322 batting average... racked up 11 doubles, three triples, and one home run for 23 runs scored, 19 runs batted in (RBI), and 59 total bases en route to a .488 slugging percentage... drew eight walks and one hit-by-pitch for a .369 on-base percentage and .857 on-base-plus-slugging percentage... led the Skyhawks in triples and finished with the second-most doubles... made one sacrifice hit and stole one base in her lone attempt of the season... made 53 putouts, one assist, and had one error in 55 total chances to own a .982 fielding percentage... contributed to one double-play... had 12 multi-hit games and recorded at least one hit in 24 games... had four stints of a hit in four consecutive games... thrice tied her career-high with three hits against CSU Pueblo (G1, Mar. 16) and at Adams State (G2, Mar. 22; G1, Mar. 23)... also had a career-high four RBIs (G1, Mar. 22) and three runs scored (G2, Mar. 22) against the Grizzlies... twice hit for two doubles in a game at Adams State (G1, Mar. 23) and against Colorado Mesa (G2, Apr. 7)... named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams as well as the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete Team.Â
Prior to FLC: Dietz came to Durango in the fall of 2024 following two seasons at Colorado Christian University... was a member of the 2023 Cougars team that swept the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament titles... also made back-to-back appearances in the South-Central Regional in 2023 and 2024... played in 28 career games while making five starts for CCU... posted a .261 batting average on six hits in 23 at-bats... recorded nine runs and five runs batted in... notched her first career home run with a solo shot at CSU Pueblo (Feb. 25, 2023)... also made one sacrifice fly... drew three walks and was thrice hit-by-a-pitch... held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with five putouts and one assist in six total chances... won four letters in basketball, three in softball, and two in volleyball at Buhach Colony High School... was named BCHS's Athlete of the Year... on the softball diamond, Dietz was a three-time Best Offensive Player, two-time Team Captain, two-time First-Team All-League honoree, and four-time All-Academic Team award winner... in basketball Dietz was twice named Team Captain, earned All-Conference honors, was a California All Star Participant, was a four-time First-Team All-League selection, and was named the Best Defensive, Offensive, and All-Around Player in three of her four seasons... also named the Most Valuable Player and thrice named the Best Offensive Player for the volleyball team.Â
Personal:Â Born April 23, 2004... daughter of Darcy and Jerry Dietz... has two siblings, Aj and Gus... enjoys working out, spending time in the outdoors, playing with her dog, and hanging out with friends and family... listens to a mix of Country and Christian music... favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse... intends on majoring in Elementary Education while at FLC... when asked her favorite aspect of Fort Lewis, Dietz shared, "I love being in a mountain town with such a great community."Â
