2025 (Freshman)
Fockler burst onto the scene for Fort Lewis as a freshman and was the only player to start in all 48 games... racked up 41 hits, including 10 doubles and one home run, in 138 at-bats for a .297 batting average, which ranked fourth on the roster.... recorded 18 runs batted in (RBI) and totaled 54 bases... for a .391 slugging percentage... drew a team-high 15 walks and was hit-by-a-pitch four times for a .377 on-base percentage... tied for the team-lead with two sacrifice flys and ranked second on the squad with five sacrifice hits... held the Skyhawks' fourth-best on-base+slugging-percentage at .768... splitting time between first base and at catcher, Fockler boasted a .985 fielding percentage with 231 putouts, 25 assists, and four errors in 260 chances... contributed to seven double-plays, caught nine runners stealing, and had eight past balls... sent a double down the left-field line in her second career at-bat in her collegiate debut against Dominican (Calif.) (Jan. 31)... belted her first career home run to left-center field with a solo shot in her third career game and ninth career at-bat against Vanguard (Calif.) (Feb. 1)... erupted for a career-high three hits, two runs scored, and four RBIs against Black Hills State (Apr. 18)... posted eight multi-hit games... safley reached base in 37 of her 48 games played... recorded at least one hit in 11-straight games from Adams State (Mar. 23) to Chadron State (Apr. 12)... made a career-high 14 putouts in 14 chances, including a pair of double-plays, at UCCS (Mar. 9)... finished with the ninth-most putouts and chances in the RMAC... tied for the fourth-most runners caught stealing in the RMAC.
Prior to FLC: Fockler comes to Durango as a three-year letterwinner in softball and one-year letterwinner in golf at Coconino High School... named the 2023 4A First-Team All-State Catcher, First-Team All-Region Catcher, and the Coconino Character Award winner... also named the First-Team All-Region as a catcher in 2022 alongside being tabbed the Coconino Offensive Player of the Year... earned First-Team All-Reigon as a position player in 2021 and also picked up Coconino Defensive Player of the Year honors... was a three-year honor roll member, thrice earned All-Academic letters, and was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars... led the Panthers with a team-high batting average of .460 in 2022 and .441 in 2021 before ending her career with a .450 average... thrice owned a perfect fielding percentage... owns the single-season records for doubles with 14 and walks with 22.
Personal: Born May 11, 2006... daughter to Rebecca and John Fockler... has one sibling, Drew... enjoys going to the lake, wakeboarding, jet skiing, camping, reading poetry, snowboarding, walking her dog, listening to artists such as SZA, Fleetwood Mac, and Zach Bryan... favorite foods include watermelon, banana splits, canes, and Dr. Pepper... also plays the violin... intends on majoring in Engineering while at FLC... when asked about her favorite parts of Fort Lewis, Fockler shared, "The campus is very beautiful and I love Durango. It reminds me a lot of my hometown. I also love the family atmosphere within the softball program."
