2012: Saw action in 20 games and started five ... Recorded 11 points after scoring four goals and assisting on three ...Notched one game-winning goal ... 16 of 33 shots were on goal.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Ponderosa High School in 2012 … Three-year starter at outside midfielder for the Mustangs … Second team all-state in 2012 … All-state honorable mention as a junior … Coaches’ Award as a sophomore and junior … Also competed in cross country and basketball … Three-year letterwinner in cross country … Two-year letterwinner at guard in basketball … Team captain in all three sports … National Honor Society the past two years … Academic letterwinner … Honor Roll all four years … Volunteer activities include Mini-Mustangs basketball program, Café 180 (which helps feed the homeless on Thanksgiving), Rebuild Denver, doing yard work for the elderly and the Rotary Club, helping with Trick or Treat Street in downtown Parker.

COACH CLARKE SAYS: “In addition to playing soccer and running cross country at Ponderosa High School, Kate is also a great student and will graduate near the top of her class with a 3.7 GPA. She came to our Elite Girls Camp in 2011, and impressed us all with her work rate and her footballing ability. Kate is a midfield player that we see playing wide for us. She is a strong athlete who is technically very sound and has good vision in her pass selection. Kate is also capable of scoring goals and any time you can add a midfielder who can cause problems in the final third, you get better for it.”
