Competed in six meets…member of the Skyhawks team that placed 20th at the NCAA DII National Championships…established personal bests in the 5k and 6k…earned her 5k PR at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite (Sept. 16) where she placed second with a time of 18:01.2…made a statement at the prestigious Lewis Crossover (Oct. 7) where she placed seventh in the loaded field with a 6k time of 21:24.7…kept the momentum going at the RMAC Championships (Oct. 21) where she placed 16th, followed by the South Central Regional (Nov. 4) where she placed 28th…capped off the year with a huge 6k PR at the NCAA Championships (Nov. 18), finishing in 20:41.3 to place 39th and earn All-American honors

Competed in seven meets…raced in the 3000m steeple, 5k, 1500m, and 4x400m…established two personal bests…opened the year by placing first in the steeple at the Dan Capriglio Early Bird (Mar. 16)…went on to earn a 5k PR at the Bryan Clay Invite (Apr. 12) where she placed ninth with a time of 16:52.32…earned All-Conference honors in the steeple at the RMAC Championships (Apr. 26) where she finished with a time of 10:56.82…ended the season with a steeple PR at the CSUP Last Chance Meet (May 4) where she placed first with a time of 10:51.02…narrowly missed out on a berth to the NCAA Championships after ending the year as the top-ranked freshman and 22nd ranked steeplechase performer in NCAA DII

Prior to FLC: Weigang comes to FLC after a prep career at Heritage High School...competed in cross country, track, and swimming...earned All-Region accolades

Personal: Born September 21, 2005...daughter of Richard and Lorena Weigang...enjoys playing sports and hiking...intends on majoring in Computer Science at FLC
