HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Forest Lake Area High School in 2011 … Placed eighth individually at the 2009 Minnesota State Championships … All-state … All-conference in 2009 and 2010 for the Rangers … Averaged 74 strokes per 18 holes … Also competed in alpine skiing … Finished sixth overall and earned all-state honors in 2011 in skiing … Qualified for state three times during his career as a high school skier … Won five all-conference skiing awards … Most Valuable Player of the ski team four times … Also competed in diving one winter, earning medals at the state sectional meet.
