Biography

2024-25 (Senior)
Rottschafer capped his career with the Skyhawks with four tournament appearances... kicked off the year with a career-best T-5 finish, his first inside of the top-20 at FLC, at the Ruidoso Junior Golf Association South Central Shootout (Sept. 1 - Oct. 1), shooting an even-par 216 at the Inn of the Mountain Gods (Mescalero, N.M.) to help Fort Lewis to a 3rd-place finish as a team... shaved off three strokes from the season prior to boast a near-scratch 73.9 per-round scoring average... posted three rounds under par and a single round of even par to finish his Skyhawks career with five total rounds below par and two rounds of even par... scored back-to-back career lows to start the year with a 68 (-4) at the RJGA South Central Shootout followed by a 67 (-3) at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational (Oct. 7-8) at the Amarillo Country Club (Amarillo, Texas)... finished his collegiate career with a 75.2 career scoring average at Fort Lewis through nine tournaments and 25 total rounds. 

2023-24 (Junior)
Made his Fort Lewis debut in the spring of 2024 and competed in five of the Skyhawks' six spring tournaments including the conference championships... owned a 76.21 average single-round score... captured two top-50 finishes... took home a season-best T-24 at the RMAC Championships (Apr. 21-23) with a 222 (+6) at a challenging Boulder Creek Golf Club (Boulder City, Nev.)... shot a career-low 219 (+3) across three rounds at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic (Apr. 8-9) at Palm Valley Golf Club (Goodyear, Ariz.), including a career-best single-round score of 68 (-4) in his final trip through the course. 

Prior to FLC: Played two seasons at Northeastern Junior College... won two Region IX Tournaments in the spring of 2023... took 15th with a one-under-par (287) finish at the NJCAA National Golf Tournament at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kan., capturing Second-Team All-American honors: the first in program history for NJC... in high school at Arapahoe, Rottschafer finished a career-best -6 to win a tournament while also recording an albatross... also competed in swimming.

Personal: Born July 10, 2003... son of Dale & Jared Rottschafer... has two siblings, Wyatt and Riley (former FLC men's golfer from 2019-23)... enjoys listening to Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, and other classic rock artists... when asked about his favorite aspect of Fort Lewis, Rottschafer shared, "The scenery and environment. Everything is so inviting and you're on the top of the world while doing it."
